Mariana is a Social and Political Science major from the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM) and obtained her MSc in Communications from the University of Havana in collaboration with the Complutense University of Madrid.

Mariana is fluent in English, Spanish, French, Haitian Creole and has a working knowledge of Portuguese.
