Medical device sector is driver of national economy of Mexico: Cofepris

On the occasion of the joint Annual General Assembly, the Federal Commissioner of Cofepris, the Mexican Health Regulator, said the medical device industry has become a growth engine of the economy of the country. According to the commissioner, Cofepris is committed to respond on time to an industry that requires a specialized care, regulation, and import support. The regulatory body aims to ensure population access to better healthcare services and to fulfill that it is working jointly with industry with greater efficiency, and optimization of regulatory processes. The target of Cofepris is clear and that is to provide best healthcare services to the people and the development of medical device industry.
