Brazil will distribute Ethics award to local hospitals to encourage compliance and healthy competition

Brazil will distribute the ethics award in 2016 referring the most ethical hospitals of 2015. The ethics award will be provided to ten most ethical hospitals of Brazil. In addition to hospitals and operators, the award will cover the complete healthcare industry, like laboratories, distributors, IT services, diagnostic imaging among others. The award is based on the idea of Ethisphere, the ethics awards organized in the US. The objective of the award is to encourage healthy competition and compliance with Brazilian health trade. An obligatory requirement to be eligible for the ethics award is to acquire protocol or ethics with rules obeyed as per the company’s organizational culture.
