Medical devices are big business all over the world, but in recent years, perhaps the area that is most worthy of attention is the Asia Pacific region. Between 2016 and 2021, the medical device market in Southeast Asia (which includes Singapore and the Philippines) is projected to grow at a 9.7% rate annually<\/a>. China\u2019s medical device market is projected to be even stronger, with a projected growth of 12.5% each year through 2021. And India is also high, with a projected 8.7% annual growth rate for the same period<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In comparison, other regions of the world are projected to be strong in medical device sales, but not quite as robust. In the United States, for example, medical device sales are projected to grow by 5% annually through 2021. The United Kingdom is projected to have 4.1% annual growth in medical devices, while Australia is projected to have 3.8% growth in its medical device market. Latin America<\/a><\/strong> is another strong medical device market, but like the others mentioned, it’s not growing quite at the level of Asia Pacific.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
