The acquisition helps expand Medtronic&#8217;s portfolio of treatment options for bladder control and bowel control therapies. Medtronic is also planning to launch the NURO system developed by Advanced Uro-Solutions, and approved by the US FDA for patients with overactive bladder and their associated symptoms in the US within a year. Medtronic shall include the revenues from the Advanced Uro-Solutions product line into its Neuromodulation division within the Restorative Therapies Group segment.
