During a conference, Jornada Paulista de Radiologia (JPR), held recently in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the sales director of Agfa Healthcare, a global provider of diagnostic imaging and IT solutions for healthcare, revealed that past few years have been tough for all medical devices companies in the country. Due to the political and economic decline, all the medical devices companies suffered and the health market witnessed a downturn. However, the situation is improving. The company official is hopeful that Brazil has a recovery forecast for the coming years based on the fact that other regions of Latin America are already following a growing line and are little more stable.
