CorMatrix’s CanGroo, cardiac implantable electronic devices gains marketing approval in Argentina from ANMAT

CorMatrix Cardiovascular, Inc., gained approval for its CanGaroo ECM Envelope from ANMAT, the National Administration of Drugs, Foods and Medical Devices in Argentina. This device is used to hold a cardiovascular implantable electronic device (CIED) with the goal of creating a stable environment when a CIED is implanted in the body. Besides CIED, other devices that can be used with the CanGaroo are: defibrillators and pacemaker pulse generators. It’s expected that the CanGaroo will receive a CE certificate by the end of the year.
