Boston Scientific’s new leadless pacemaker will accompany its S-ICD product range. The device will probably be developed by the end of 2016. The target behind the development is to get patients rid of endovascular leads. The new Boston Scientific device would be implanted by transcatheter delivery similar to Medtronic’s Micra and St. Jude’s Nanostim devicesimplantation in the heart.
