Asian and Latin American regions have ample opportunities for global diagnostic imaging technologies market growth

According to a market research article published by WiseGuy Reports, the diagnostic imaging global market is expected to reach USD 38,315 million by 2022. Imaging technologies lead to non-invasive diagnosis and treatment of some of the most life threatening diseases such as cancer and heart diseases and have excluded extensive surgery. Currently, North America is the global leader of the market followed by Europe. The Asian and Latin American countries represent the fastest growing markets owing to rising government support for R&D, reforming industry, and academic partnerships for pre-clinical research. But factors such as economic stagnancy and pricing pressures may force companies to focus more on Asian regions, which are expected to grow at the highest CAGR of 5.8% over 2016-2022.
